Twice for Goodluck / Vintage Rampage

C H I C O F T H E C E N T U R Y
has been awarded again!

Thanks to Ms. Blair - http://clickforblair.blogspot.com
(you're a sweetheart!) for acknowledging my little space in the blog world.

Instead of passing on the award once again,
I think I shall sit this one out and wait to see other blogs out there
who deserve a little bit of credit.
Plus there's a few newcomers stepping into the blogging scene.
And speaking from my own experience,
this visual space we call our blog page where all our imaginations have every right to run wild -
can be a little lonely knowing it's still fresh and new,
lacking the amount of Followers and readers.

But for me,
for a person to have more followers and no quality (by this I mean blog content)
is simply just wasting space.

Although now is not the time to hate!

Anyway,
today during textiles class,
we fed our tie-dyed test samples glorious amounts of sun,
and it all amazingly turned out quite well.
I should have brought my Country Road bag (since I never use it)
and tie-dyed it myself - using the school's equip - ha, smart!

For today,
I thought I'd do a little featurette on this adorable little Vintage shop I randomly browsed through on the net, whilst hunting for a good op shop myself.

"Cream" www.myspace.com/creamoncrown
  • SHOP 32 / 277 Crown Street SURRY HILLS (SYDNEY) NSW 2010
  • CREAM ON KING 317 KING ST NEWTOWN
(yes I'm quite sure that is a vintage Chanel purse)

I'm all for vintage and op shopping,
the last thing you'd want is 300 other girls/guys wearing the same predictable clothing as yourself.
The bonus: amazing finds in shops like these, can be endlessly
altered to your own preference, giving an old gem that extra special jazzle dazzle.

They have an extensive collection on retro, vintage, original, modified and basically kickass clothing.
I've never actually been,
although due to the hectic schedule and school work demand of year 12,
I will definitely make time to visit this treasure box after my first actual exams
later on next month.

All the sources I have sneakily borrowed are from their MySpace - which I mentioned earlier in this post.

If anyone visits this little heaven,
be sure to let me know what you think!
(and what the price range is)

That's all for now folks.
And be sure to check one of my recent posts for the past awards I've given,
and check out the blogs I've accredited.

Ciao.
